You’ve probably heard that greyhat and blackhat backlinks are
making their way back and are now stronger than ever.
It was something I personally expected, being a game of
cat and mouse between Google and SEO-ers.
The thing is, Google will eventually catch up to this sort of techniques.
Trust me, I know. I had close to 20 websites back in 2011 before Panda hit,
making a cool $400 a day only to get it reduced to a few hundred dollars a month.
It’s not something you want to experience.
But here’s some interesting statistics: 95% of the websites out there fail
to properly SEO-optimize their website on-page.
You see, we all chase the newest backlinks and the shiny “secret” methods
of ranking, we forget that on-page optimization is JUST as important as
off-page one.
So remember: always take care of those important aspects that can greatly improve
your rankings, without the need for you to pay any money for expensive
backlinks.
I’ll post another article tomorrow with some of the techniques
you should use (they’re all free!).
